Club Rules

Central Searchers is a club which is aimed at arranging weekly/fortnightly digs for metal detectorists.

The annual membership will cost £25 a year and is subject to you abiding by the rules laid down in this booklet and is non refundable.

Each dig will cost only £8 for members and £12 for non members, this again is non refundable.  We hope detectorists make lots of finds at our digs but we cannot guarantee this.  The monies paid by you for each dig is to cover our costs, time and the effort in finding these venues and is not paid for guaranteed finds.  We would like these digs to be as happy as possible and although we cannot guarantee what the weather will be like or what you will find within the ground we will try our best to make sure everything else runs as smoothly as possible.

We aim to have digs as regular as possible this will of course depend on the availability of land.  These digs will vary from weekly to fortnightly depending on the season some digs will be Saturday and Sunday others will be a single day this will depend on the logistics of the site.  We will also have our catering van at each weekend venue to supply food and drink which will be especially nice to have around on wet cold days.

These digs will be open to members and non members however non members will pay a higher dig price.  Both members and non members must belong to either FID or NCMD and be able to produce their membership card to either of the above associations if requested.

All in all we hope you have an enjoyable membership with us and please feel free to speak to us on any problems or suggestions that you may have which will make the club a better place to be.
