Dig Information

After driving many miles this week looking at new land and old land, to follow crop progression and harvest, we stopped at a couple of sites that had rape stubble, however the stalks are simply too high to detect comfortably.

We visited an old favourite and although we have visited this site on a number of occasions we were real pleased to find it is now in great detecting condition, the majority of the fields have been harvested, then cultivated and rolled flat ready for drilling, that’s some turn around.

Most of the 450 acre site will be open so there is huge amounts to search, it will be split over the 2 days so there is different land for Sunday.

We know some of you may not attend as we have visited before, however this site is in prime condition apart from lack of moisture, it is also a pleasure to dig in present conditions, being all cultivated and sandy soil.

The snack van will be in attendance for those that wish to use it.

RE-INSTATE HOLES CORRECTLY, DO NOT RE BURY OR LEAVE FINDS, FOR THOSE THAT DO WE HOPE YOUR NEXT TOILET VISIT PRODUCES A HEDGEHOG.  DO NOT DIG GRASS MARGINS, THEY ARE PROTECTED AREAS AND ARE OUT OF BOUNDS.
